Level 2
Our member have the appropriate Health & Safety protocols in place to work safely under Level 2. Please note that with Auckland still under Level 4 access to materials and supplies will be very limited (we are working on this).
Level 4
Those of our members operating under Level 4 have a skeleton crew of fully safety briefed people to continue with essential repairs.
ESSENTIAL WORK INCLUDES:
– Any work involved in building and construction related to essential services and critical infrastructure.
– Any work involved in building and construction required immediately to maintain human health and safety at home or work.
This we interpret as any work that is maintenance on health and safety in the home:
– Glass repair and replacement, windows, doors, balustrades, showers etc. This may only be a temporary repair as we expect limited availability of toughened glass etc
– Faults in windows and doors that would diminish security/safety
– Commercial – ram raid services and board up services.
Individual business will determine their charge out rates at this time and the additional safety protocols they will undertake. You will be asked the following questions if you do request work which must be answered correctly and truthfully:
- Has anyone in your house returned from overseas in the last two weeks?
- Has anyone in your household been self-isolating prior to the lockdown? If so, why?
- Is there currently anyone in your house that is sick?
Please be patient during this time, as the supply of goods and services will not be as they normally are.
